Introducing Luke Wallace, born via C-section July 23, 2010 at 8:06 a.m, weighing 9 pounds, 11.4 ounces and measuring 21 1/4 inches.
Obviously we had a last-second name change--it was really important to Alan to honor his dad, Gary, and we just didn't like the name Carter with Gary. We were still calling him Carter until the night before, and settled on the final name right before we went into the operating room. We really think it fits, though, and I am so happy because none of the names we had tried had clicked until then.

We are over the moon. He is such a big, healthy boy--I could not be happier or more GRATEFUL. I'll add some more pictures and tell more about him in another post. I've got to feed my sweet hungry boy.

He is SO adorable and big. Good thing you had a C-section or OUCH! Can't wait to see more pictures and hear all about the little boy. Have fun loving on your new bundle of joy. I love the name!!
Congratulations, guys! Luke is perfect. I love those pictures, as well as the others you texted me. I love him so much already! Looking forward to seeing you guys.
