Go Nuts...

We went to a Lansing Lugnuts game tonight. Jacob's daycare had held a fundraiser auction recently, and one of the Lugnut suites was up for bid. Our friends, Danielle and David Ferguson, won the suite and invited us to attend the game with them. One of the Fergusons' sons, DJ, is one of Jacob's best friends and is in his class. The Ferguson's also have 6-year old twin boys named Conrad and Kobe. We had a really great time. I haven't figured out how to (or if I can) caption the pictures, so I don't know if I will be able to identify who people are in the pics. I'll have to look on my friend Deidre's site to see if she captions her pictures, and if so, ask her how to do it!

Ever used bubble bath in a jacuzzi tub???

Well, we tried it tonight, and the bubbles got completely out of control. Jacob had a ball! And he just loves this bathrobe that he just got that used to be his cousin Robert's.

Had to get it on camera...

Jacob is nothing like I was growing up--we have to force feed him vegetables. However, we have discovered that he LOVES cucumbers, and he tolerates green beans, so I just want photographic evidence of it!

Cooling off

It actually can get pretty hot up here, it just isn't as constant as it is back down South. We have a lot of days in the 70s and 80s. Today it was in the 90s, and we were inspired to go buy a little swimming pool. Jake spent hours in it today. I figure we should get a good month of use out of it this year!

Mini-vacation

We went to a small amusement park called Michigan's Adventure yesterday in Muskegon. It is about 2 hours away from our house. It has both an amusement park and a water park. Jacob had a blast. Because he is pretty tall for his age, he could ride alot of rides that you normally wouldn't expect a four-year old could ride. Alan had to ride the roller coasters with him, because they are out of my league--I did ride the kiddie roller coaster with him though, and that was JUST RIGHT for me.
